You Need Direction To Make The Most Of Every Day
You need direction. We all need it. We all need to know our way. We need to feel we are on course. We need to feel that the line we are taking holds water, is sound and likely to achieve the desired goal We need to feel our chosen road has no road works. Some hurdles are inevitable but repeated delays, obstacles, difficulties can sap energy, decrease resolve and make achievement seem less and less likely. Do we have the right bearing? We may feel we are going directly to our goal but is this true? Is our route good and true or are we heading in the opposite direction to that which is needed? Are we sure that we are going the right way - there may be a tendency to let things drift
- we may have the wrong attitude and need to change
- our current leaning may persuade us against the correct course of action
- we may be biased and put aside the resolution we should be focusing on
Equally we may need - management of our task to improve to give a better chance of success
- control of what is occurring rather than just trying to wing it all of the time
- to take charge of affairs and not let the winds of life blow us this way or that
- command those aspects we can and have faith the rest will work out - backed by our cause being a good and wholesome one
- to plan and then put this plan into action
- follow instructions when the need arises and in areas we are not expert in
- share information with the people we are working with
- to work in a team if the task or project demands this - or is just to big for one person to manage
So lots to think about. At the end of the day is our heart in our venture. If not then effort is difficult, focus will wane and our likelihood of success is poor.
