We Dislike Challenging Activities - Increase Your Focus And Application
Do we only see change in areas we dislike? Why is it we find things toughest in areas that we do not get on with? That we just do not like? We get challenged where we find things hardest and there is a certain logic to that. If things do not gel then they do not seem to move forward so naturally or harmoniously as when we feel comfortable doing something. Change in those difficult areas does put us on the spot. It asks questions of us. Do we have the mettle to move forward? Do we have the determination and perseverance? Do we have the commitment to see the task through? Do we have the discrimination to decide what to do? Do we have the motivation to tackle these issues and the confidence to give of our best when doing so? Do we get enthused enough by what we are doing? Are we inspired enough? Are we moved enough for action? Not just think about it but do it, too. Can we hit things head on? To not give way. To learn what is needed. To see what is required. And then to put in the concerted effort in pursuit of our dreams. Is it feasible? If so we can move on. If not we have hit a hurdle, which may prove to be a dead end if we are not careful. What we do no want is to get swamped. Too see only the hard graft and the effort. The late nights and the missed sleep. The worries and concerns. The fears and the rest. But it need not be that way. If we see our less liked areas as challenges. If we see the hurdles and obstacles as ways to show off our best. And can look beyond the act to the benefit, beyond the effort to the achievement. Then we will work hard and not quit.
