Magic Is The Power Of Life You Have In Your Hands
We all want to feel that magic in life. That X factor, that something a little extra. That energy, that juice, that fire, that moment that makes all the difference. There is a charm, a glamour, a magnetism to life. We feel enchanted at times. Changes in our life can really make a difference. This is not an illusion, it is real. We do not like the boring and the mundane. We always want a little bit more. Whether it is risky or not, we want it. But is there another way. We wake each day. We go about our affairs and life remains with us all day long. We look to the heavens we see the sun and the clouds, and the stars and the moon at night. We experience a bit of nature. The animals. The world we live in. The beauty of life. Can be seen, can be heard. Can be tasted and touched. It can be captured in our hearts. We can bathe in its majesty. And then we say that life is not magical - where are we coming from? Life is not a mystery. We can understand it all. Experience it all - or so we think. But then something untoward or unexpected happens. And . . . We can question and wonder at what is happening around us. What are the motivations and the allure that life seems to be putting our way. We can start to think about what is really happening in our life. The direction our life is going in. The power of words . . . We can let the words quietly be spoken to us in there own sweet way. If we let them filter through and allow the words their power to move and rejuvenate. I hope this page will do this and more. I hope this example will help to express life in an insightful, penetrating but easy to read manner. And help us to question the lives we lead and the manner in which we live them. There is a kind of magic Avoiding it is just tragic It is present each and every day Let us open our eyes and see it without delay
But where, we ask, can we it find? Above, beyond, in front or behind Where is this power we all know is there We can enjoy it or sit and stare
And wonder what there is about life to enthuse What changes, what decisions, how can we choose What we should be doing this moment or the next If we are not careful we'll not get the right context
And go off our path or direction sooner than later Off into the shrubs and miss the helter skelter Of life in the fast lane, all bright lights and wise To the splendors of life, could we advise
Anyone to follow in our footsteps and through our gate Over our hurdles and obstacles, and at our rate Of progress through life, changes taken anew Is life the same for me as it is for you?
For if you have made some good decisions You'll be in good stead for your actions To help make change really work out for you Just don't let your enthusiasm help make a breakthrough
To find that life is such a place of fascination The power of life's magic can help you brighten Your day and that of others The charm, magnetism, and allure just bolsters
Your true thoughts about the life in your hands It is real, no sleight of hand that brands Things with glamour and with mystery When you might be barking up the wrong tree
So keep things very much down to earth And not off in the clouds, this is no rebirth But life showing you some of its magic and allure Keep your feet on the ground is good advice, I'm sure
For many a person sees enthusiasm on high Looking to the heavens if not the sky To find peace and solace and more But look within and you'll find a huge store.
Of joy, contentment and experience of all Many a thing to live by and no shortfall Of energy to meet those life changing moments We all have them as life presents
Opportunity and chance to us one and all To do with as we will, and to enthrall Each and everyone of us in our own way This magical life for us can be here to stay. All best, Martin
