Innovation Reveals The Wonders And Splendors Of Everyday Life

Can innovation play a part in my life?

I am only a small cog in a huge wheel. How can anything I do or suggest impact on anything else?

Nature is the true innovator. How can we improve upon that?

Change is inevitable. The introduction of new things - happening all the time.

Transformation. Novelty. Originality. Alteration. Revolution.

Put the question to a computer and it will come up with an answer. But is it 42 we may ask?

Originality is rare. Copying is rife. Being oneself is difficult. Having an original thought is unusual.

There is a richness to newness. Whether it be a single thought or a grand idea. And we can all participate.

We have the basic ingredients. Live. Brain. Thought. Abilities. Able to act.

Maybe we need give ourselves permission to do so. Perhaps this is the biggest hurdle. Believing that you can do something in a new and productive way.

Be it cookery or engineering, computing or putting some shelves up, there are multiple ways of doing things.

And at times it is the flexibility that gets to us. The choices available for the least little thing.

But we need not try to reinvent the wheel, though many have tried.

What we can do is to let ourselves think, feel and act. Allow our instincts to direct us, but be discriminating at the same time. And what wonders we may find or do.

Be it word and writing, art or sculpture, science or technology - some things are begging to be improved upon - and why need it not be us to do so?

Before I leave I should just point out one thing - responsibility. With thought and action there are ripples, consequences, action and reaction.

Everything we do need not come back to haunt us, but there will be repercussions.

So be alert and awake and all will be well while you delve into the mysteries of activities that you undertake.

Good hunting.
