Hope Is Something That We Can Make Reality

Hope is that light at the end of the tunnel.

Is this the same as a desire?

The same as a dream? The same as a goal? The same as a wish?

Perhaps just a little out of reach but is it out of sight?

  • Is it real for us? How can we make it more real?
  • Is it something we can count on?
  • Is it something we can believe in?
  • Is it too much to expect it to come true?

But what is it?

Something to look forward to?

Something, a lure, better times, an escape, future excitement - all or any of which we can use to stimulate growth and develop action?

Is it just something to keep our fingers crossed over - or firmer than that?

What conviction do we have that this might come to pass?

Certainly loss of hope is seen as depressing if not an outright disaster.

Is it something we can anticipate? Hmmmm. We can think we feel and taste it, it is that close, but does it just act as another spur for us?

Is it there so close yet just out of our range?

Starting to gel. Starting to form a more substantial image of what can be?

So tantalizing and yet so real - to us - at the very same time.

Will we ever reach it?

Does tomorrow ever come?

Reach one goal and do we reset to create another one? Or does desire just spring out of nothingness to lure us forward?

For human beings a life without hope maybe no life at all?

Or is it there to spur us on to finding ourselves within ourselves? The hope of more brings us to experience a place in which reality exists.

Is that the real answer to this whole enigma . . . ?
