Each Day Your Very Own Life Guide Comes From Striving To Be You

Do we really need a guide, this is the question? What is the purpose of a manual to help us to manage change? Would a handbook really help us? After all everyone knows we only consult the manual when we are in need of help . . .

In life we are not born with a handbook, or written instructions to help us to live. Why is that we may well ask, and what would be the answer? Would we really manage life and life's changes better if we had a manual in our pockets? Would we see them as instructions or rules we should or must follow - and how would that make us feel. Is there not a certain freedom in the way life unfolds for us?

In life we learn as we grew up. We learn from our parents. We learn at school. We learn from our family and our friends. We can learn in so many different and varied ways.Yet throughout this learning there has never been a guide to turn to. No nice set of instructions to follow. No one has a map by which to live this life. There is no reference book available.

Yet we grow and develop as we get older learning new things each and every day. Our parents naturally play a large part in our growth and development, and rightly so. But no parent that I know has a book of instructions to which to turn to in time of need.

What does this tell us about life? That there is no need for a guide, manual or a directory by which to live - or that we have not come across this as yet?

How we manage change has a huge impact on the way in which we live. Whether we tackle life with confidence and motivation or with trepidation and fear - is this a matter of luck or just good fortune or down to our attitude to life?

What will we be looking at on these pages?

What questions might we ask?
