Greed Will Show Off Your Worst Qualities To The World And Others

What are the effects of greed? Not something we might focus on but need to be aware of.

So what might we consider:

• focus on the wrong things and getting lost and away from where the real action and direction in life is for us
• take your eye off the real goal and temporarily, or longer, lose focus and significance and importance of what you are doing, or what needs to be done
• wanting without effort - just taking without care or thought, effort or input
• steal from another, steal from self at same time - but you would not do that would you?
• easy come, easy go - hmmmmmmmmm
• nothing is worth the effort - an easy excuse but where does it get us?
• poor self esteem - if we don't think well of ourselves we will crave and keep the wrong things close - in the hope that they will both make us feel better and make us look better
• acting against self but don't realize it - lost in the pursuit of a prize that clouds our judgment and our appreciation and our awareness

Greed. So many different angles. Why cannot things be nice and easy?

All things have consequences. The Midas Touch (all that we touch turns to gold - even food and drink and loved ones) has its own repercussions.

The bright lights might appear to be appealing but are they really?

The thought of wealth and fame is very alluring, but look at all those who apparently cannot cope with the adulation and the lack of privacy.

An easy life of no wants or needs - would that not be boring after a short time. And why many who come into fortunes - not having earned them the hard way - squander and lose them with aplomb. Almost a wish to get back to how life was before . . .

The adoration of the masses. Sounds fine, but how many can cope with that - and still lead a normal, loving, caring, achieving, developing and growing life? How many go off the rails?

Yet we can want things and go for them without losing ourselves in the greed factor. Position, place in life, things, earned are fine - we know we deserve them.

And they really mean something to us. Perhaps that is the secret - obtain things that seem to mean something, but actually do not, are never going to satisfy us.

They do not have the quality of satisfaction. But then what does?

Simply that quality of satisfaction and fulfillment lies within each one of us. It is not out there in the world. Not something to be chased around.

It is to be found within us. Was there all along. Awareness and appreciation of that is one of our great and needed steps in life.

Ensure that you look within and find what you are looking for there - first, second, last, does not matter. Just don't forget to look there, hidden within.

Avoid the greed and you will find wonders and experience to fulfill any of your wishes or aspirations.
