Manage Freedom By Accepting The Liberty Of Change In Your Life

Freedom. Liberty. Autonomy. These are things we crave. Life throws change at us and leaves us to manage it as best we can. Being and feeling free. Now that is something we are willing to fight for or over. We treasure what we think of as our liberty and openness.

To be free to manage change is very precious to us. Some changes are sought, while others occur almost without our knowledge or consent. We need to accept, manage, adapt and cope with each of these circumstances (or are they opportunities) that come our way. For life will challenge us as well as give us the ability to be free - if we accept the responsibilities of life.

To live under constraint is a misfortune, but there is no constraint to live under constraint. Epictetus

What does this all mean to us?

What is like to be free? While it is something that we can easily take for granted, what does it really mean to us? It can

  • give us the privilege to change as and when we see fit
  • allow us to be able to function well and unrestricted in life
  • allow us to experience the abundance of life each and every day
  • encourage us to get enthusiastic about the things we do
  • show us what is available to us in life - if we make the effort to strive for it
  • let us communicate with life, others and ourselves in the most productive and beneficial ways
  • deliver untold riches into our life - we just need to be receptive and responsive
  • allow us to engage with life and delve into its mysteries and discover its wonders
  • give us independence of thought, word and deed
  • let us live a liberal but responsible life
  • let us chase and achieve our ambitions
  • make us ready for the riches that life can bestow upon us
  • relieve many a problem or obstacle by allowing independent and responsible thought and action on our part
  • rid us of unwanted and unnecessary clutter in our lives and allow us to live a free and light existence
  • let us feel and act in an unbound or unimpeded manner
  • allow our value system to let us live the life we have always wanted
  • allow us so many things . . .
