Experience Can Open Our Eyes To New Aspects Of Life
What role does experience have in leadership? What can my encounters and adventures in life bring to my table? Will it help me or hinder me? There is greater knowledge to be had by seeing and reflecting on past events - will I understand more as time goes by?
- will practice help make perfect?
- will my previous knowledge and skills come in handy
- will previous tests and trials have helped forge me stronger and more durable in the cauldron we call life?
- will contact with others be helpful
I don't have great skills but I have know-how and common sense, will they do? - what proof will be forthcoming on my road to a better me?
- will my daily exposure to life be a boon or a curse?
- can I participate with confidence or should I sit down and watch?
- will my familiarity with getting by in life leave me in good stead?
Many questions and are there any real answers. Sure there can be. From others. From life. From unexpected quarters. But you do know the main source, don't you? That's you. You are the main source of experience and knowledge and wisdom, for you. Believe it. Feel it. Savor it. Bathe in that. And then get on with your life. Can I think out of the box? Can I see beyond the obvious? Can I see beyond the first impressions? Can I see through to the heart of things and then act with this new knowledge? Can I learn from others or will I always be making my mistakes, and over and over again? Can I have flashes of insight? Can I feel and not just think and analyze all of the time? Can I do this and more?
