Contrasts Give Us Information We Should Use In Making Our Decisions

What are the contrasts change might throw up?

How often do you see things staying the same? Change and life is just not like that is it?

• Nature has the changing seasons.
• Life has growth, development, experience, death.
• Ideas have their time.
• Traditions come and go.
• Different philosphical ideas come and go.
• Science never seems to stand still.
• Technology is ever advancing.

Man made objects have their own shelf life.

Everything changes. We may not approve and we may not like it. We may not participate in it. Yet it happens around us nonetheless.

Changes throw up differences. But also similarities, differences and anomalies. Not to mention peculiarities - and several other 'ties' as well I am sure!

Comparisons abound. Disparities show their ugly heads. Distinctions exist.

We see things. We feel things. Some affect us, others bypass us. Some we approve of, others we just hate.

Some we would like to repeat. Some we would like to capture. Some we would like to preserve. Others we sure like to get rid of.

These differences - and we can put our own examples together - sure cause an emotive response in us.

We just need to remember that it is just change doing its stuff.
