Circumstances quotes from my notebooks:

The following are taken from my notebooks. They will I hope complement the quotations given above as well as reveal a little more about my life and my thinking about life. They are all related to the theme of circumstance quotes.

Some are idle thoughts and comments on life and the life we lead. Others could one day be developed further into articles or reports. I feel that they are related to the 'circumstances quotes' theme.

Circumstances quotes - from my notebooks

Don't complain, put your effort into the real gain of accomplishing your task and moving on.

Take care!

Your father/mother would be proud.

Everything that has happened, bad behaviour included, has taught me how to and how not to - a real lesson.

Are you camouflaged or do you stick out like a sore thumb? Keeping your head down or publicising yourself to the maze? Sometimes the quiet, get on with it approach works best, other times be flexible. Learn to adapt.

The world could do with a few more people who knew what they were doing, where they were going. There is enough craziness around not to be augmented by us moving helter skelter first this direction and then that, achieving little but getting thoroughly confused and often demotivated while we are doing it.

Enter a smelly room, soon it becomes unsmelly - in that you are no longer aware of the odor that first hit you on entering. Similarly when you encounter troubles your first awareness can soon be hidden and you do not realize the trouble you are now in, whatever its nature.

We cannot clock off in life. that day will come we know not when. Life has to be experienced between now and then. Now this moment is the one of importance. We can learn from the past, and experience life in the now - the present - and have aspirations and ambitions for the future.

He was always so strange, one always so different. Does that make him bad or wicked? It did set him out from the crowd. Given the right circumstances we could be that 'stranger'. Give him a break.

Stimulation. We have our senses, our five senses. We need stimulation, almost as much as we need oxygen and food. Stimulation reminds us what we have, who we are. As well as prompting us to action. It can also remind us that there is an inner life to be experienced and savored as well.

Choice. We love choice and yet too much choice is a 21st Century burden. Two many options can drive you bananas. Do we have the method of choice, our method of choice, buttoned down? Do we outwardly choose so many things on impulse, and yet neglect the many choices we have regarding our inner self, our inner world (and what is really important)?
