The Challenge Of Transition Helps Us To Move Our Life Forward
The challenge of transition. Is this change by another name? This can the hardest element of change, or at least one of the hardest. It is happening but has not happened. How can one cope with that? How can one really know what is happening in this state of flux? The change is occurring but we are caught in the middle, the half-way house syndrome. These times can cause confusion and uncertainty - as to what will happen or the direction or path events may take. These transformations can be quick - when we wonder what we really worried about - or slow - when we just wonder. If only things would sort themselves out then all would be well. And make it snappy. At these times we - need to trust ourselves
- need to be patient
- need to keep our focus
- need to keep our commitment
- need to remain true to project or task
We may feel this is a good time to reassess what is happening. And at times that may be the case. But choosing those times to reflect and maybe think about a new direction demands discrimination. We need to be temper our efforts by the need to cast doubts and uncertainties aside - if we are happy that our task is good and proper and we just need to wait patiently for progress to be made. Transition is not out to get us. It just is. We need to hang on in there. We need to hold tight. We need to keep faith with life. We can try to rush things or spend our time clock or calendar watching but we need beware that we don't waste our efforts on futile and unproductive activities, rather than saving our energies for the challenges ahead. We need to let the necessary acts take place. Then we can savor the moment. Uncertainty is over. Confusion is rested. Reality is here once more. And you have survived. Well done!
