Be Flexible In Your Thoughts And The Deeds Will Follow

Do we need to be flexible when change looms?

If we do not bend with the winds of life we may crack and break or suffer some other discomfort.

We can be pliant without being over accepting, malleable without just taking on board everything that life seems to throw our way.

It pays no harm to be adaptable. To assess changing circumstances, to decide we may need to alter our perspective and then to do so.

From strength work out the options. Do this rather than drifting into something, and then trying to withdraw or amend course later on.

To be practical take the rough with the smooth, the unexpected with the foreseen, the fortunate breaks with the chance encounters. Take them all in good spirit and with a friendly demeanor.

To have a healthy dose of realism. to know when to say no, to be happy and willing to say yes when the circumstances seem right.

But also to call a halt when you need stop events - to reconsider or reassess progress or the direction being taken.

Learn that, by being flexible, you will be productive - and a good and friendly person to be around.
