Attitude quotes from my notebooks:

The following are taken from my notebooks. They will I hope complement the quotations given above as well as reveal a little more about my life and my thinking about life. They are all related to the theme of attitude quotes.

Some are idle thoughts and comments on life and the life we lead. Others could one day be developed further into articles or reports. I feel that they are related to the 'attitude quotes' theme.

Attitude quotes - from my notebooks

Don't get grumpy, unhappy and ungrateful.

Predictable, unpredictable - that is the question . . .

Be truthful with yourself - maintain your self esteembe truthful with others - maintain your stature

Taking the first step. Taking that first step. It can be so important, so crucial to any venture. Any adventure. And life can be that adventure.

Outsider or insider? What really matters is to know what you want, ask for it, go for it . . .

Value loyalty. Respond if you have to do something. Do what you have to do to proceed.

Do not be afraid. Fear limits your actions, inhibits your abilities.

A small cog in the wheel. Loss of identity. Independent thoughts. Individual. All are important - just one small part missing and the rest fails to function efficiently.

Changing your behaviour. Realize the situation. Feel the need for change? Don't like normal response. Suss out a different response. Test the waters - trial it. Like the response, bin it if iffy again. Repeat and like it and change your behaviour. (Repeat as necessary.)

Know fear for what it is, uncertainty, not knowing you can get, what you can achieve.

Do you feel like an upstart? Out of your depth, an outsider? Why is that? The situation you find yourself in, your company, how you feel about yourself? Do you belong? Why should you not belong, and to what - the human race? This group or that? Are YOU an outsider? If so why is that? Do you belong, do you conform? Are you predictable or unpredictable? Do you always do the right or the expected thing? Whose set of values do you conform to? Someone else's or your own?

Invest in yourself. We put in time and effort in everything else, let's not forget ourselves.

A change of heart.

You could not stand not being one of the best. Time and other's efforts can do that to/for anyone. But you have to take it personal like. We're all judged for/by our efforts that's the way of the world. You just have to get/keep used to it.

Reflect.

  • Find strengths. Develop those and run with those.
  • Discover/uncover weaknesses. Work on those.
  • Don't beat yourself up
  • Go with the flow
  • Find your flow
  • Reflect . . .

Keep a weather-eye on yourself.
