Achievements Challenge You To Go That Extra Mile

Are my achievements important to me?

If not you then who? You have to find out what is really important to or for you. Then put the effort in.

Am I doing what I really want to do? Only you can say. But step back, reflect, assess, examine your life. It is worthwhile doing this on a regular basis anyway.

I ended up doing this out of obligation. Been there done that. Things tend to linger on after the first impulse or after the enthusiasm has waned. At times it is only right to continue and put these thoughts or feelings aside. Other times. Reassess and withdraw. Times change and we have to move with them. But we do have to be aware of the consequences - and take these into account . . .

Achievements. I'd rather be putting my feet up. Sure, we all do from time to time. And rest and relaxation are essentials for us, but not all the time or when it is inappropriate. Priorities and responsibilities need to be taken into account.

Is any of this worth the effort. Again - what do you really think? Not everything will change the world, but small things are often as important as big things. And big things are only an amalgamation of small things - a lot of the time.

I feel so exploited. Bit like obligation but stronger. Are you just rebelling or opposing or is it real? Your life is in your hands. Seek help if necessary but you have to make the first steps.

If only life would deal fairly with me. Oh woe is me. I never get the breaks. The hard work always seems to come my way. We have all been there. What we do not know or fail to remember is that all successful people, in whatever field, have gone through these feelings and times. The choice is yours. You can submit or you can endure and overcome.

Achievements. How can I appreciate what I do? This starts back at base - with you. Appreciate yourself more. Respect yourself. Accept yourself. These are the first steps to appreciating your actions. After all where do your actions originate - from an impulse within you.

I have lost all self respect. Maybe you have not if you recognize it - but perhaps that is pedantics. You need to start small. Find some things you do do well. Appreciate them and you for doing them. And move on from there. And seek help if you feel you really need it. Seek the counsel of people you trust. And accept help and support. You really can do it if you put your mind to it. And the rewards of liking yourself and feeling comfortable with yourself are really worth the effort.

My self image is shot to pieces. By whom and how? Don't believe all you hear about yourself. Believe yourself. You have a mental image of yourself. You can build it up or shoot it down. But others really do not have that power - unless you give it to them. Don't. Be the master of your own destiny.

I feel confident but not motivated. Then you are half way there. You just need to find the path or direction you need to take. Find something that really means something to you. And go for it. Make it good and wholesome, get excited, and there will be no holding you back.

We will all meet hurdles on the way to our destination, wherever or whatever that might be. How we handle them is what makes us the person we are or can become.

Achievements. Life will challenge you and stretch you. Meet those challenges head on and you'll be pleasantly surprised at what you can do.
